Costco Wholesale

Costco expands to serve new communities around the world

Over more than 30 years, MulvannyG2 and Costco Wholesale have created an uncommonly strong partnership that has helped build the Costco brand and over 670 stores around the world, with recent openings in Mexico, Australia, South Korea, and Canada.

Costco operates on a simple philosophy: Keep costs down and pass the savings on to their members. MulvannyG2’s intimate understanding of Costco’s business and commitment to efficiency enables project teams to take new stores “from foundation to store opening” in just 110 days while generating cost savings that create value for Costco and their members.

UNIQLO delivers innovation and value in the United States

Since 1984, clothing retailer UNIQLO has built a global network of 1,400 stores—and counting.¬†As part of its rapid US expansion, UNIQLO partnered with MulvannyG2 to design a flagship store and several mall and pop-up retail locations.

Fuzhou Heritage Park

Fuzhou Heritage Park presents cultural inspiration with zero carbon impact

The Fuzhou Strait Intangible Cultural Heritage Ecological Park in China’s Fujian Province highlights the region’s artistic and agrarian traditions through tourism and economic development. These traditions are reflected in the park’s master planning, architecture, and materials, as well as the live-work artist residences and galleries showcasing traditional stone carving, cork carving, and lacquer painting.

Guests can enjoy shopping and dining as well as nearby hiking trails and Jasmine tea fields, immersing themselves in a park experience that will preserve the local culture and the environment by targeting zero carbon impact.

Bellevue Towers

Bellevue Towers redefines the gold standard for urban living

Bellevue, Washington has transformed over the past decade from a Seattle suburb to a thriving city. To meet a need for urban living, MulvannyG2 partnered with GBD Architects to bring two mixed-use towers of landmark proportion and style to Bellevue’s downtown core.

The LEED Gold-certified Bellevue Towers is the city’s first eco-luxury condominium development, featuring 541 units, a lively mix of street-level restaurants, and landscaped gardens that offer a city oasis for residents.

The Hotel at Southport

Bringing beauty and business together at the Hotel at Southport

The Hotel at Southport is a key attraction within SECO Development’s mixed-use complex that is transforming the south shore of Lake Washington. MulvannyG2’s design maximizes the beauty and convenience of the first four-star hotel and conference center near Sea-Tac International Airport.

Surrounded by views of the lake, city skylines, and Mount Rainier, MulvannyG2 worked with SECO Development to equip guest and meeting rooms with stunning views. With waterfront park access, multiple decks and terraces, a gourmet restaurant, and over 40,000 square feet of event space, the Hotel at Southport is designed as a hub for business and social events for the local community and visitors alike.

West Marine

West Marine charts a course from boat-ware to boat-wear

To attract a broader customer base, West Marine saw an opportunity to evolve its reputation as a boating supply retailer to become a lifestyle brand dedicated to all aspects of life on the water.

To translate this shift into store design, West Marine looked to MulvannyG2 to redefine the customer journey. By introducing new merchandising techniques, shopping zones and bold environmental graphics, West Marine now offers a compelling experience for every type of customer—whether they need a new anchor, snorkel gear, fishing reel, or fleece jacket.

Target thinks outside the big box for the big city

In many parts of the US, cities are growing faster than suburban areas for the first time in decades. As the trend continues, many big box retailers are looking for the right way to reach the urban consumer.

To introduce its CityTarget concept, Target needed a store design for the downtown Seattle location that would suit an existing building and effectively serve the urban population with a smaller store footprint. In partnership with Target, MulvannyG2 developed an adaptable solution that makes CityTarget a seamless part of downtown living in Seattle and other markets including Los Angeles, Boston, and Brooklyn.

MixC - Nantong

Creating the ultimate mixed-use destination in Nantong

As China’s middle class burgeons, so does the demand for mixed-use developments that are true destinations. In the city of Nantong, prominent developer China Resources Land sought to create a world-class center for shopping, dining, entertainment, and business.

Inspired by Nantong’s natural beauty, MulvannyG2 developed a design that visually represents water flowing to the sea. The 4.7 million-square-foot development maximizes the long, narrow site while creating a compelling mix of indoor and outdoor spaces and two iconic high-rise towers.
